Welcome everybody, So last week I was searching for a decent rifle for my first time deer hunting. As soon as I turned my head I just picked it up and said I'll take, it's a BAR MKII Safari 30.06 w/boss. It was more than I wanted to pay for never hunted before but it looked perfect. They gave me a break and 2 month layaway to help out which I'll pay off this Friday. The BAR is used but looks like it was never/barely shot, no scratches, and priced at $850. Any opinion whether it was a decent first time rifle or worth it. I can't find many reviews or at least nothing bad.
