Hello, and thanks for the acceptance to your forum. I've been shooting for many years, but the only Browning I have owned was a .40 Hi Power. It was a great gun that won it's share of pin and plate matches, and I also used as a carry gun at times. My venture here is to find out more about the BLR in .223. While most are going to a bolt gun as a backup to the AR platform, I have many thousands of rounds through a number of Marlin lever guns, so I've naturally gravitated to the Browning lever. If it was proofed for 5.56 I'd probably already own one.
