Just picked up the iTac Defense 3x Prismatic Scope earlier in the week. The Prismatic Scope is a lightweight solution for fast target acquisition. This rugged and reliable scope provides assured accuracy from a 3X fixed magnification reticle, graduated to 600 meters. It features three reticle modes – non-illuminated black, illuminated green and illuminated red, with each illuminated mode offering 5 brightness settings. Anodized aluminum construction ensures optimal performance in the most extreme conditions. I picked up this one locally for $125 and it looks like a great optic for the price. The glass is clear as a bell and the reticle is very crisp. I'll be mounting it on one of my ARs and taking it out for a proper test in the morning. Stay tuned for more pics and a full review...
Mounted the new iTac Defense 3x Prismatic Scope on my Spikes midlength and took her out for a test run this morning... It added very little weight overall and the benefit of the 3x magnification led to great results on target. Got her zeroed in no time at all. Windage and elevation adjustments can be made with a standard screwdriver. The red/green illumination with adjustable brightness settings is a great feature for adjusting the reticle for any lighting conditions. Here's a three shot group at 100yds. The spacing is right at 1", or 1MOA... ...and 20 rounds went into this one, also at 100yds... Overall I'm VERY pleased with the new scope and would highly recommend the iTac 3x Prismatic Scope to anyone looking for an inexpensive 3x magnification optic.
