I picked up a Browning 725 Sporting Grade 7 from one of the guys at the club the other day. I was told it was number 57 out of 100. I don't really believe that but I would like to confirm one way or another. The serial number doesn't make sense from anything I can find on the internet, it's 2015G70057. From this number I am assuming the 2015 is the year of manufacturing, G7 is for grade 7 but does the 0057 mean 57 out of 100 or 1000's... Or maybe my assumptions are completely wrong. I also would like a true value, gun is in excellent condition. If anyone has any knowledge on the subject I would very much like to hear from you. Don
I also did some quick searching and didn't find much. Browning serial numbers are confusing to say the least. I cannot find anything certain on grade VII, I have my doubts that the G7 stands for the grade. Have you called browning and ask them? Welcome to the forum.
