I ran across an early model SA-22 at an estate sale. It is in good condition, has a wheel rear sight, screw in the bottom of the pistol grip, a large loading hole with an elongated slot and a "D" ring loading tube removal lug with 4 screws holding a small plate in the loading tube hole entry in the butt stock. The guy claims it's a 1948 manufacture. It's nice but pricey. Any insights on this from anyone? Thanx!!

Great, thanx for the info. Looks like a 1958 manufacture rather than 1948. I will probably pass given the priceiness.
