Have an opportunity to buy a nice looking light 12. Barrel has St. Louis, Montreal M89190 and receiver has 4G 71460 on it. So is this a 58 barrel on a 64 receiver? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
It’s a 1964 gun. They quit putting the serial number on the barrels after 1953. So there’s no telling if that’s the original. It is marked correctly, though. Montreal P.Q. was added in 1959. You can also check the date code to see if it’s a ‘64 barrel.
