So, It looks like they aren't making the "Gold Hunter" anymore? I'm more of a pistol guy but this is by far and away the best shotgun I've ever owned and, most likely, ever will.
I've been shooting my Gold Hunter quite a bit lately since my Citori was sent to Browning for repair, ( which they didn't do, btw, see my other post ). The quick load feature is one of my favorite things about it. I've been shooting skeet and 27yd trap with it and it handles very well for both games. The draw back is cleaning as with any auto. I had the 3 1/2" model too, but I traded it for a .410 SXS Marlin version of the LC Smith, awesome little gun.
My buddy uses his browning gold for skeet and trap as well and loves it. Never seen it jam or have any issues even with the light loads.
