Morning all; New member here. I received a Browning autoloader as a Christmas gift and although I'm a lifelong shotgunner, I've never seen or heard of this model. The barrel is marked "A2000"; it's a 20 gauge, vent rib with a 26" improved cylinder choked barrel. The on-line research I've done has almost no mention of this model, much less any information (one blogger stated Browning never made an A2000). I was told it was made in Belgium in 1975. I would appreciate ANY information or insight you can provide on this shotgun. Thanks in advance. clc
I know very little except that Browning did make a A2000 and B2000 series of shotguns...probably for the European market through FN. Here is a schematic for the B2000: http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/ctgy/browning-b2000-field-service-manual I would contact Browning CS to find out what more they can tell you... I have a B2000 but have never heard of your model. Does it load through a port on the left side of the receiver?
I took a look at my B2000. The barrel has the usual array of Belgium proof marks, but no model number. The model appears on the left side of the receiver and no where else. Rudolph31, Yesterday at 1:45 PMEditReport #1Reply SHOOTER13 likes this.
