It&#039;s not the same as the centerfire BPR models that MGW has - this one has a mounting hole in the center of the forearm. I&#039;ve tried all the usual parts places to no avail, and am wondering if anyone has any ideas where I might find one, or find a substitute that might be modified to fit.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[Picked this up a few weeks ago on GB for a fair price in .380 and with a complete upper barrel, slide and recoil spring in 7.65. I have seen these in .380 but never 7.65. Were these sold in the US in 7.65? It&#039;s a little tack driver too. Magazines are interchangeable between 7.65 and .380. Browning also designed these to be able to swap calibers with just a barrel change. 1910 grips without the thumb rest fit the 1910/71 so do the magazines. 7.65 slide was full of cosmoline. I have read about the salt issue on the Browning and am trying to find out which year this gun was made. I have taken the action out of the stock and there is no rust or pitting. Should I be worried?<br />

Serial number is  L10233 on the barrel just ahead of the action, in the barrel channel of the stock and just the numbers behind the bolt handle....<br />

Or advice on what needs to be taken out to disassemble the gun? I&#039;ve managed to get the seized/rusted trigger guard screws and security screws on the side of the forestock out. This is a salt gun that I&#039;m attempting to take apart so I can clean the action and barrel. I&#039;m trying to figure out if I need to find a way to remove the butt stock screws and/or the sling mount screw as well to fully take it down. <br />
