Just got my new sa22 and put it together. However the dial will not turn at all. I can still take it apart, but it doesn't seem right to me. Did I do something wrong? Thanks
It's called the adjusting ring on the barrel. In order to takedown you are supposed to turn it. Mine will not turn at all, yet I can still take it apart and reassemble the rifle. That isn't right. I think they overtightened it from factory.
I think Browning's spring-loaded response it "send it in". Then you wait for a year or so... I'd call Midwest Gun Works or Art's Gun and Sports Shop for advice. It's probably something simple. And if you HAVE to send it somewhere, I'd recommend one of the above 2 shops. I know that MGW is an authorized Browning Service Center, not sure about Art's. http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi http://www.artsgunshop.com
