I've been a pistol shooter for years off and on and a neighbor has sponsored me into a limited membership outdoor range. Looked around on a Canadian used gun website and picked up a good shape for it's age, '76 SA 22 for a first rifle. Like the unique load-in-the-stock and Browning quality reputation. Cleaned it thoroughly (from youtube videos) and like shooting for cheap. I put a Bushnell Banner 3-9 40mm scope on and tried sighting in to start at my pistol range (50ft). Within 100 rounds put 10 shots into the x-ring size of a nickel with CCI 1080fps I use for my autoloader. When the stupid weather breaks here, I'll get to try 25, 50, and 100yds to see what I can do and with different ammo. This site I'm sure will be valuable for maintenance, tips, comaraderie, and gun addiction.
