I am contemplating a new 1911-380 (long slide, Pro, no rail). But, the micarta grips on these just don't sit well with me. I would much prefer the standard black synthetic grip as supplied on the standard model. 2 calls to Browning and an email have not provided an answer on part no./availability/price/ordering instructions etc.

Anyone know a source for these? I have already checked the usual suspects--Midway, Brownell, Numerich et al.

    Thanks

Yes, I can't be sure of his reply but it was something about not having a part no. yet and directing me to a dedicated parts no that didn't answer. No reply to email. Maybe a fax to the fax number for parts orders?

Maybe wait until they open for business tomorrow...Tuesday the 5th...as they have been closed since Friday due to the holiday.
