hey everyone. Was looking to find out when my a5 was produced, I tried looking on the browning website but could not find my cereal number on there it says 4g and underneath that 55919. A little history to the gun that I have been told, my grandfather bought this shotgun just after getting out of the military and by my calculations would probably have been in the sixty's. My grandpa got very sick and his daughters made him go make out a will, after his passing we all found out that, out of all his belongings house, cars, property, and money stashed away the only thing willed to anyone was this gorgeous Belgium made shotgun to myself at 12 years old. Btw stopped into the gun shop today and got a estimate to completely dismantle clean and re blue it. $250-$300. Thanks in advance for any help!

Your A5 is a 1964 model. The G indicates light weight.
