Hi all I have an old 1929 Auto 5 12g that I am going to restore at some point. Up until today I hadn't fired it, it's crimped to a 3 shot. On test firing today it fired the first shell, when ejecting the first shell if also discarded second but picked up and fired the third !!! Can anyone advise please on what maybe the cause, or how I rectify this. Many thanks Noel
Noel, At the top of this forum there's a thread about this very problem. If you mark your shells you should find that it's the third shell that falls out. Your gun should operate normally if you only load two.
