 After 2 months of the new chrono looking at me from the shelf, I was able to play with this thing a little. I must say I’m impressed with the results so far. I tested a new load and it clocked 1380 fps. I thought possibly this was wrong, but then ran 10 Rio loads<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I have a new 25-06 xbolt and I’m having trouble finding a load it likes. I have tried several factory loads and I hover around 1.5-2 MOA. I have tried hand loads using hornady 117gr interlock with H4831, H4350, and IMR4955. The best I got was 1.5 MOA. I moved to 110gr Hornady Interbond with H4350, and H100V and still the best is 1.25 MOA. I have checked the scope and everything seems good with that. I want to stay around 110-120 gain bullet weight because this is primarily meant to be a...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Thought I would update anyone that wants to use the gaep crimper. BP has a spinning deal with the crimp head on it. The cost is around 100 bucks with crimper and spinning adapter. I have adapted these to my Mec and PW press. I have all the pre crimpers so was just looking for the spinning part. Emailed Charles and he knew exactly what I wanted. I got two with shipping (3 days) for 80 bucks. They arrived today. I will need to do some fancy work again but should work out the same....<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[The troy hulls that I received from Tampa shooters seem to be a good quality. I decided to load a few to see how they loaded. I must say I am pleased with them and would order these again. The troy hulls have a little less volume than the federal hulls. These are loaded with 410 powder, Fed 209, mg wad and 7/16 oz of #9. I will of course run these over the chrono and pattern. If they look promising, I will send out to be tested.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[It&#039;s been a while since I posted in the reloading section, so thought I would share a load I&#039;m working on. The load uses blue dot, cheddite primer, #7 steel shot 7/8 oz and the B&amp;P supersonic wad. The wad has four slits, and the shot is completely inside the wad. I will be doing the normal pattern test and over the chrono in the future.<br />

It deals with extreme slow motion video captured  from super fast frames using latest video camera technology.<br />
Certainly worth watching if your remotely interested in the performance and science of your reloads.<br />

The initial inspection seems to be promising with nice finish inside and out. Primer pocket cleanly cut and the company logo stamped nicely on the top of brass case. From left to right 12ga(2 1/2). 16 ga(2 1/2) and finally 410(2 1/2). I quickly tried a CB-6100 in the 12 and seems to be a nice fit. The 410 got the CB 5050-410HS and also seems to be a good fit. The other day due to component being unobtainable my Son and I decided to raid our winnings pile stash  and break open a slab of 1250 FPS Eurotrash target loads for a skeet comp day. Would be 5 yrs since either of us had used a factory as we are strictly reload  guys.<br />
Well neither of us could hit crap and batting well below normal. Things just didn’t feel right for either of us. We both decided to retire the factories and use our reloads again<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I was reading today on another forum and it seems like people always ask the same questions, so that prompted this post. These hulls are the cheddite translucent hulls from BP. They are probably next to the Fiocchi hulls for me, somewhere near file 13. According to BP they are skived and the plastic is .030 thick. I load a fair amount of cheddite hulls and these just don’t crimp like other cheddite hulls. The first pre crimp is the factory mec plastic crimp.]]></content:encoded>
