Not a Browning book but definitely a good read. Book caught my attention , co authored by history professor Jared Fredrickson and Eric Dorr covers off on life and adventures of  one Lt Ronald Speirs and his time in Europe with “Easy Company” 101 parachute infantry regiment. Looks at life pre WW2 before deployment, then European engagement against Germany but really interestingly  follows on with his army career during occupation and rise of rank and...<br />

Published in 1948  through The Macmillan Company this little hardcover of 203 pages delves into pattern performance and choke constriction theory recommendations of the era.<br />
It covers off on firearms which were the latest and greatest of the time and newer technically.  References in chapters to pitfalls in using  prize GI war trophy guns bought home from Europe...<br />

I would recommend hunting around trying to get a first edition as it was actually illustrated with sketches by Bruce Bowlen himself who was a a senior instructor  and director with Orvis for many years.<br />

Even various barrel tags .<br />
That way it’s can true one stop shop reference section for anybody visiting the site interested or looking for anything specific.<br />
I am sure some of the more serious collectors out there  who visit the site would have a huge stockpile...<br />
