However, after picking it up, I decided to have some work done and it was out of my possession for a few months. I had some issues chambering Federal ELD-X 200-g so I wanted to have it checked out by a pro. While it was there, I switched the forend from the traditional banded one on the straight-stocked version, to the schnabel-style used with the pistol-grip models. I hope this is an OK forum for this request.
I recently inherited several guns from a friend, and wish to sell the ones that I think other people might value more than I. One is a B-92 chambered in .357 magnum. The condition is excellent. I'm truly not sure that it's ever been fired (my friend did have a habit of buying guns then putting them in the safe forever).
I have a new Browning BLR in .308 that I want to shoot with open sights. The factory sights are not the best in low light conditions.

In NZ, there are no apparent aftermarket options, e.g. fibre optic sights. Before I go to the extreme hassle of filling in import forms and so on, I would really appreciate some suggestions for proven, high quality, high visibility open sights. Front and rear replacement, front only, whatever.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
It came with one magazine (used rifle) marked .243/.308. The .308 mag fit very well. I could not find a .308 mag so I purchased a .243 mag as a spare. The .243 is VERY tight but is will seat and cycle ammo. Any modification ideas to loosen this thing up a tad?
