Popping ballons @50 yards today. So much fun. Sometimes a little more difficult than it looks.

Nice target hut looks like it belongs to Bozo the circus clown with all the balloons. I am not seeing too many busted ones though...... Geronimo

Ha, funny you should say that. Last night I cleaned the board. 6 arrows and 6 busted ballons. The night of this picture I couldn't bust all of them to save my life, Bozo was smiling at me. It's a pretty long shot @50 yards to hit one of those ballons, esp. with a little cross breeze. If you can hit those @50, then 20 yards becomes very easy.
I started using ballons to make it fun for the kid, to keep her entertained but I have to admit I like to see those baby's pop. It's cheap fun. I get a whole bag of them at dollar store.

Crying because my complicated and expensive attempt to reclaim and remachine axles for JD mower Transaxle setup failed now back to square one......

re-machine? What happen to the original ones?

The OEM axles in Spicer transaxle are crap soft as butter low carbon steel only 5/8 " dia for torque and wheel load and the keyways for wheels spiral over time walk around shaft.
POS design under engineered to start with.

Now I understand. They want you to buy a new rig. You need to train them damn Roo's to keep that grass trimmed then you don't need that Deere.

Typically of anything here it's now no longer supported by either Spicer or JD so your on your own with pants round your ankles.
In desperation come up with the home brand plan tried to machine shrink fit spigots existing and graft decent piece of 4140 with new keyways.
it just not enough section to sufficiently handle the torque.

Total BS. I have treated this mower so carefully and fussed so much it's only reason got this far. No shortage of roos but they plain don't eat enough for how fast it grows in right conditions
