So almost all of my firearms, shotguns especially are "new". My 1973 Citori is the oldest. But you see and hear a lot about folks who have a few vintage guns in their safe's that are "must-have's", such as every shooter should have at least one of these in their lifetime .... Browning A5, Remington Model 11, what-else? What would be your list of a "must-have" shotgun, preferably a shooter, not just a safe-queen? I have a buddy who doesn't own a gun that was built/made after he was born. All he shoots are vintage pieces, mostly pumps. Remington 3200? Winchester Model 12 (?), what else could be on that list.
I like historical guns, new ones are just tools to me. My oldest shotgun is a 1903 Auto-5, next is a 1908 pre-Model 11. My nicest is the 1924 16 gauge Auto-5 pictured.
I would go a DA . Not District Attorney but Browning Double Auto. Ticks few boxes, old, quirky, high quality, way ahead of its time and all the retro colours of "The Jetsons".
