I've had my blr 20 years, when it was new I had 2 rounds that didn't fire, small dent in primer then fired on second attempt. Then problem didn't reoccur for years and hundreds of rounds. A few years ago it started occasionally misfiring. I noticed the bolt carrier doesn't always go all the way forward. If I push it forward with my thumb before I shoot it fires every time. I've hunted like this for a few years, but would like to get it fixed. Play measures .028. I also have a new blr and it has no play. Could it be possible that the timing has always been a little off? This one has always had a little play.
