Hello everyone- OldMac here - new to the forum - have owned Browning firearms off and on for last fifty years - true Citori fan - but, have just purchased first Browning rifle - a blr in 7mm-08 and am looking forward to deer season - for years used a Marlin 45-70 but recoil is getting little strong or I am getting little weaker - anyway, anxious to read and learn more about one of my favorite firearms brands.

Welcome from Southern New Hampshire. I also have a Browning BLR in 7mm-08. It's a great rifle, and the 7mm round packs plenty of punch with a moderate recoil. Roll my own rounds with ELD-X projectiles and N150, if I recall correctly (been awhile since I made a batch, I'd have to check my notebook). Great light and fast rifle. Your shoulder will be pleased with your selection.
