Just took possession of my 2004 NWTF BPS 12 gauge. Picked up on GB from Texas Ranch Outfitters. Not used much as the camo has not worn off on the typical contact points as I have noticed on others. Also does not have the bad DuraTouch coating. Ran a few dove loads through last night with my FiL. Heavier than I expected and did not recoil like my Auto-5 (rings are set correctly). Will be my turkey gun. At my age of 53, hesitant to run a 3.5" turkey load through but will try at least once. My oldest wants me to experience at least one shot.
Think I would let his shoulder experience that. Personally, I would use 410 with TSS on turkey. Congrats on the new purchase. Gook luck with it.
You will like your BPS. Had late 80"s delux BPS miroku build with nice fancy walnut monte stock carlo and gold trigger. Barrel was choked inventor from memory. A flush fit screw in choke was latest and greatest. First new gun I ever owned. Shot trap, skeet and hunted pigs with it too all in one. When you get good you can impress you buddies with doubles. Really cool how it dumps the shells at your feet too.
