I use the heavy canvas cases that Cabela’s sells. They’re great but the zipper rubs the stock, so I normally use a gun sock too.
I use several different ones depending on specific use at the time. Usually a Pelican. (The local Harbor Freight stores carry a China-mart knock-of that is very similar to a Pelican case, for about 1/3 the money. Remember you get what you pay for.) Sometimes one of those hard plastic cases with foam inside. I rarely use a "soft" case. Depending on your location/climate/weather---keep in mind it's best if the gun can "breathe" somewhat as improper storage can quickly lead to rust, etc.
