1936 Superposed "Airplane" front sight

Has anyone actually seen this unusual winged sight on an early Superposed ? In 39 years of collecting pre-wars I have never encountered one. Would love to correspond with others who might have. Thank you.

I have a pigeon grade skeet with this sight.

My grandfather had purchased this in 1997 from the original owners family. A doctor from Lancaster Ohio bought it new. I do have the original order receipt for this one (somewhere in my house) with options as follows: red recoil pad, twin single triggers, vent rib, airplane sight, skeet chokes, and case.
The sight is actually cut into the rib to lay flat.
