Have not posted anything in here for a while.
Not a Browning book but definitely a good read. Book caught my attention , co authored by history professor Jared Fredrickson and Eric Dorr covers off on life and adventures of one Lt Ronald Speirs and his time in Europe with “Easy Company” 101 parachute infantry regiment. Looks at life pre WW2 before deployment, then European engagement against Germany but really interestingly follows on with his army career during occupation and rise of rank and move into other theatres after WW2.
Very interesting accounts of somebody’s feats and story and not a well known public figure who avoided attention.
