Hello, All. Thought I would post this question. Very interesting history I must say on this modified Auto 5. Hopefully someone in possession of one of these unique guns would be so kind to shoot a couple of good photo's of it disassembled and post them. A guy on another forum I frequent has one. I have tried until I am blue in the face to buy it, but he won't sell. I can get a hold of him and see if he will send me some pictures.

Sarco was selling them a few years back at what I thought were jaw dropping prices. I think it was $1000.
There's a guy over on the FAL Files forum site selling one, (a rough one) with a 5rd only blocked magazine for $4500.00 !!
Yeah, I just don’t see it. Those Rhodesian shotguns were ridden hard and put away wet. As military collectibles, maybe. But if you just want a 8 shot Auto-5, there are cheaper alternatives.
A gun guy with a youtube channel called "Administrative Results" just released a video about a Rhodesian Auto 5. I have watched several of his videos, they are ok. He does make a few minor inaccurate statements, but over all, it's pretty good!
Ive seen them, more of an entertainment aspect than anything else, nonetheless, the gun he shoots is a great looking gun, Love to have one, but cant pay those prices.... maybe I'll trip into one like he did!
