New to the forum.. Been a Browning owner for many years.. Have 2 Auto-5 12 gauges , 1 Browning 22. All are older (60's- models). Have never had a Browning in a larger caliber though. I will be buying a Browning BAR Safari w/boss 300 win mag this year. I will buy this after I purchase a Browning X-Bolt Long Range Hunter Stainless/Carbon Fiber in 300 win mag. Very frustrated that Browning only released 50 of the long range hunters and won't have anymore available until July.. They only sent those to Cabelas. As this is a new gun for 2016 I can't understand why they waste half the year before having them available. UGGHH .. Going to call the new Cabelas near Houston (2 hrs away) to see if they can have one of these shipped from another location. Not very often that I get to buy 2 premium guns in the same year. Also, I'd like to find any review on the X-bolt Long range hunter stainless. And lastly, I'd like to find the true age on my Auto-5's and 22.
Already found the year of manufacture of my old Brownings! 1954 Auto 5 Light 12, 1965 Auto 5 Light 12, 1969 Auto 22
