    I have been an active gun guy for about 40 years. For hand guns I prefer 1911's and wheel guns. I joined the forum mainly due to my last purchase which is a Browning 1911-380. Some minor issues, but since I do almost all of my own gun smith work, I wanted to share some of what I have done.
    All of my shooting is with targets. A few years ago I go interested in accurate long range shooing with precision rifles. I belong to two gun clubs and one is designed for rifles which gives me a great amount of pleasure. Last purchase was a MasterPieceArms 6.5 Creedmore with a US Optics scope. I shoot at least once a month to stay current, and I think going to the range on a regular basis is very important
