I recently purchased a used 1968 Browning BAR 7mm rem mag. I was a great deal and seemed to work great at the time of purchase. When I went to sight it in I noticed it wasn't cycling every casing out. I took the rifle apart and low and behold the bolt sleeve is severely cracked. A local shop has in stock a BAR Mk3 DBM in the wood finish. Before going to the shop, I checked Browning's website to make sure I understood all of the specifications. The base of the barrel doesn't have bluing, it's like black paint and it can come off with your fingernail.

Overall, the gun is nice and light but the fit and finish on it is not awesome.... Kind of wish I'd went with the MK2 Safari.
