Hope all goes well with your new position. Nothing cheap about bodywork/painting. Had a 100 pound deer run into the side of my 2017 F250, deer got up and ran off. $9,000 worth of damage. Aluminum bodies don't do well with repair. They replace entire panels.

Ranger hopefully new place will appreciate your skills set and reward accordingly.

Just got back from the doc. Seems one of the two ticks I pulled off gave me a little gift when I was down on the farm. Started to get the bulleye rash around the bite. Doc gave me some Doxycyxline to hopefully shut down any Lyme and/or other diseases. The Blacklegged Tick larve was tiny, thought it was just a freckle until I yanked on it and it was already dug in.

Ticks are horrid. Yes Lyme is bad news and hard to pick up symptoms wise until it gets real bad.
We have a wretched thing here called "Q fever" that comes from airborne dust spores of dried up Cattle piss. Has identical symptoms as Lyme's with brain swelling etc. You have to get immunisation if you regular work on cattle trucks or rail cars.

Musky, be glad you caught it early. Good Lord was looking out for you. I had 4 or 5 fellow wardens come down with it over the years. One went legally blind for a while and they were pumping medication into him directly to his heart through a tube. He finally did regain his sight and is functioning and able to live a normal life. The doctor's at John's Hopkins pretty much wrote the book on Lyme's from him. It was new to them and he went undignosed for a long time. Ranger, Everything will work out. Every cloud has a silver lining although we may have to look a little hard to find it sometimes.

Off on another Dad n Son sporting clays adventure. Going to a little tiny rural club in the hills about 50 miles away.

Today is opening day of dove season in Md. Trouble is, supposed to go up to 94F. When I was younger, I wouldn't give it a second thought. Think I will hold off till Saturday. Supposed to be back down in the 80's with lower humidity. First dove opener I've missed in 50 years. Gets warm sitting in the sun with no shade. Buddy who owns farm hasn't cut and says birds are few and far between.

Same here. Gonna be way too hot all week. I haven’t heard anyone going today ( opener ) Haven’t seen any silage cut, but it should be anytime.

Don't worry weather is crazy this side of world too. Seems were jumping straight from winter to summer . 47 to 90 tomorrow. That's some variation for the third day of Spring. Sign of a Mars like Summer coming along.
