Hello group, Recently had some flooding and the gun safe got hit. Have some rust damage on my '94citori and wanted to know how the best way to do the bluing on it would be?
You can covert red iron oxide — rust (FeO3) to black iron oxide (FeO4) by boiling or steaming. In several videos, Anvil Gunsmithing shows how.
