30 like 15-1600. Way cheaper then my 12. I did buy new when it first came out.

    Very nice Justin,
May be I should start collecting 16 gauge? What years are they? Would It not be great to add a straight grip to your collection?

    From front to back.

    1947 stealth with mod choke
1944 or 45 post war serviceman gun full choke
    1939 with mod choke
    1935 with mod choke
    1928 with IC choke

I had a couple nice pre-war that I trade for a 1903/04 12 gauge that have the suicide safety. Progressive deconfinement started officially last week but fortunately we were essential service therefore we have been running for 3 weeks. How about you, are back to normal?

Being an “essential” employee nothing really changed for me. Other than my wife was off work for 5 weeks. She really wasn’t off she went from being a mouth janitor to school teacher

That is a very nice collection. I didn’t know you had a straight grip, which year is it? I would love to have an ultra light like yours. Do you like it as much as your sixteen?
  14. win7stw

    win7stw .30-06

I don’t know what year for sure the straight grip is. It’s serial number falls in the 1910-1912 range.

I really do like the ultra light. I didn’t shoot any pheasants with it but it was deadly on doves. I can’t wait to shoot skeet with it

I just saw the solid rib. Is it from the thirties?
  16. win7stw

    win7stw .30-06

Yes sir it’s a 1938 IC choked barrel

I love the solid rib. The thirties were the 3 shots era. I love mine.

One of my 16’s is a 38 stealth sweet with an uncommon vent rib. My 3 shot is a stealth sweet too

Where is the pic Justin? Is it a "jobber"rib?

No it’s a regular vent rib but I feel like that was uncommon for the 30’s. It’s the 6th gun from the bottom
