Did the Belgium 16 gauges ever come from the factory with a recoil pad? I am looking at a 1948 A5 and the seller claims its a factory pad and the LOP is 14-7/8". I am pretty sure it has been cut and the pad added. The pad is a Westernfield.
Unfortunately, I don’t have access to the S/V book right now, but if I remember correctly only the Magnum Twelve came from FN with a recoil pad. But Browning or the dealer may have added the pad, making the original owner think it was “Factory”.
