Here’s the schematic: https://www.midwestgunworks.com/browning-cynergy/parts.html It looks like you remove the recoil pad, then the stock screw. But doing that without buggering up your pad is a different matter. I’ve seen videos where the gunsmith puts Vaseline on his screwdriver to ease entry.
Thanks for the parts breakdown diagram. Yeah, all the videos that I've found are demonstrated on a gun with wooden stocks. I didn't know if guns with composite stocks where much different. One guy I watched said that he likes to take a new gun apart and spray everything down to get the preservative oils (cosmoline) off and replace it with Ballistol or other gun oil. He too mentioned something about lubing up the screwdriver to keep from harming the pad.
Well, I thought about the fact that a composite stock might be different, but realized that it would be extremely unlikely for them to change the receiver just to accommodate a different stock.
