Cerakote on my 1911-380s

    I had Cerakote applied to each of my 1911-380 full size 380s. Thought I would share the pics.One is Carbon Grey on the slide only and the other is Steel Grey on both the slide and frame.

    They were both basic black models to begin with. I really like how they turned out.

    The look great! I like the steel grey myself. You mention both started out as basic black, but it looks like you have 3 dot white sights? Am I correct? If so, where did you get them and how did you mount them? I’m about ready to order a new one and prefer the basic black but I just can’t get by with the little black plastic nob’s Browning calls “sights” and they are not even dovetailed in. I’d appreciate any insight you could provide, and again, great work on the cerakote.
