      Hi all,
I bought a used 20ga Browning Citori. I have not been able to get correct chokes for this gun. It is marked "invector" on the barrel block. I have bought several chokes trying to get the right size on the secondary market. The inside diameter of the barrels are .695. The chokes I have bought are SUPPOSED to be invector. They are all marked Browning. They are from .752-.755. Can anyone here help? Thank you in advance.

Browning choke tubes are clearly marked as to what choke restriction they represent. (Ex. - Cyl, Skeet, Imp. Cyl., Mod., etc.) Browning offered the Invector system in their early shotguns, and later switched to Invector-Plus (more than two decades ago) which accommodates barrels that were overbored for their chambering. Obviously, Invector tubes must be used in Invector-marked barrels, Invector-Plus tubes must be used in Invector-Plus marked barrels. The Invector-Plus tubes are correspondingly larger in inside diameter and also longer than standard Invector tubes to accommodate the overbored bores.

Some descriptions to determine chokes styles and tube designations:

It should be noted for future readers, that Browning now uses the Invector DS tube, as well.
