I have been unable to find much information for options on mounting a bipod to a Browning BAR. After doing some searching and experimentation I have found a fairly good solution.

Some of you may know the FNAR is based off the BAR platform. For the most part... the major difference seem to be the heavier barrel and the higher capacity magazine. All the other parts seem to be interchangeable with the BAR. So I purchased some parts and decided to see if it would work. I was able to mount the new foregrip and new pistol grip buttstock from the FNAR platform onto my BAR. Now wih the rails on the for end I have more options for mounting a bipod, sling adapters or other accessories. The buttstock has 3 different cheek pads that can be mounted for a more custom fit. And what I think is a much better looking rifle.

I just thought I would share this info.

    Thanks for the report!
The same parts, labeled for the BAR Hog Stalker, would also fit. They'd be Max-1 camo, though.
