Greetings All, I am new to browningowners.com. I have an old B-2000 that I disassembled for cleaning. I am having a difficult time re-installing the trigger assembly correctly. The trigger assembly is in good shape and all of its part are functioning and lubricated. The bolt assembly, bolt slide, action arms, and action spring are also installed correctly. The trigger assembly is difficult to get in place and when I am able to do so, the bolt will not lock back. Whatever the issue is, I cannot see it. Any guidance/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
There is a trick to it. Here's the manual, go to page 12. (There are some good troubleshooting tips in this manual as well. Save it for future reference.) http://www.midwestgunworks.com/field_service_manual/browning_b2000_field_service_manual.pdf
Hi Setters4life, Thanks for the info. I'll give the trigger assembly installation another try using this manual as a guide.
Welcome to the Browning Owners Forum sneektip !! Hope this helps the original poster of this thread...
Hi Sneektip, Thanks for your thorough posting describing your solution to our mutual problem. My problem was exactly the same as yours. Once I got the buffer fully seated, everything worked fine. Thanks again. Regards, LSK
