Hi everyone I'm new to the forum, I purchased a Browning black label and I put close to a thousand rounds through it without one hiccup whatsoever. Question is this, Midway has CCI subsonic 740 ft/s ammo $58 a thousand rounds! Will the gun cycle it successfully? Have any of you used them in your 1911?

Welcome to the Browning Owners Forum Doug !!

Probably won't cycle the action...great price tho !!

    From the Midway USA website:

" This round is ideal for shooters using bolt-actions or single shot rifles (but is perfectly safe in semi-automatics although it might not completely cycle the action)."

I've had three failure to cycle incidents with subsonic ammo in 150 rounds so far. I'll have more data with Remington Golden Bullets in the near future.
