What kind of accuracy can I expect to get in a .30-06. I just bought it used, bore and rifling looks great.

Although looking at the iron sights, the front post seem kinda tilted compared to rear at zero and also the scope taps. Doesn't seem like the post is bent, but maybe....

hey damond, welcome to the browning Owners Community!! i hunt deer in the fall with my 30.06 and i personally think its a great round for it. I should anywhere from 100-250 and its spot on with a scope. what are you looking to use it for?

My friend has an older one in 30-06. He gets sub moa at 100 yrds with factory winchester super x ammo.

Best ammo for me has been Federal Premium 165 gr. Trophy Bonded Bear Claw. Sub MOA at 200 yards; I have a BOSS on mine. But, as this is no longer loaded commercially, l'll be trying the Trophy Bonded Tip version when I run out.
