I am under the impression that most early A5s came with a plain bead front sight. However, some photos show typical ramps. Has anyone seen this one before? Is this for a trap version? Note that the bead is black because there is cold blue on it. Your thoughts please.
Someone (it should have been me!) found this new condition 1903 Auto-5 in a gun store. Here’s a shot of the bead: But I have also seen ramps on early guns that look like yours.
