16 type 2 comes home

I have several different freshly blued barrels that fit . I was going to sell this one but don’t think I can now.

I always have to look at he reference material because I just can’t keep the different Types straight.

I have one just like it that I purchased from the original owners grandson. Mine is a two barrel set both solid ribs in a mutton leg case. I also just picked one up in 12 gauge, it has the English grip stock.

The first photo it the 16 gauge I purchased many years ago and the second is a closeup of the 12 I was lucky enough to run across last month.

Is it the original bluing?

Yes sir, even the 1904 gun in my first reply still has its original rust blue.
