   Anyone know what year it was that Browning made the speed loading feature standard on the Auto-5?
   
   I believe I read it was around 1952 or 1953..

   Ok did some looking and seems that late 1953 it was documented, but some early 54 guns didn’t have it. By late 1954 pretty much all had it.
