I bid on this shotgun before I noticed the barrel isn’t original. Glad to see I was outbid this morning.

But there are unusual marks on the (1958?) barrel. Anybody recognize them?

I was thinking about bidding on that gun too. Still might throw a bid in at the end if it doesn’t get dumb

Looks like there might be some shill bidding going on too

Could be. Glad I noticed the barrel or I might still be bidding. The unemployed shouldn’t be squandering their money on such toys.

Any idea about the marks on the barrel ring? I’ve never seen anything like that before.

I also bid on this, but decided to let it go.

That pistol is sweet. No idea on the barrel markings.

You need a retirement present don’t you?

Ran that Auto 5 up to $1000 and stopped. Neat gun but I couldn’t justify anymore

I am not to good on the post war Browning barrel identification. How do you know it is 1958 and were any alterations done to the barrel?

Wow, a thousand dollars. That would have been a nice present!
The date code on the barrel looks like the Greek letter rho.
