Was able to fill my tag here in NY last weekend, not a trophy deer but definitely a unique one. 3 point antler on his left side and the other antler sticking straight out the side of his head. will try to post some pictures up this weekend of it.

Not this past season but 2013, this buck was shot with my A-bolt chambered in .280 rem. So far this season has been a bust, awaiting the rut.
My 358 Win BLR took a decent (weight,not so much antlers) whitetail buck on its first hunt. 36 caliber bullets do a good job of draining the carcass if the deer falls exit side down. The rifle was sighted for 125 yards, the deer was only 30 yards from me, about 100 yards from my pickup & truck camper in my farmyard.
