    working on a 1936 standard A5.
Ordered all the parts and installed. Speed function works. The problem I am having is the front portion of lifter is to close to shell in magazine tube. And it hits the shell when depressing to load another shell. I have tried several locking block latches and ended up using the one that was original to the gun.
My question is has anyone had to modify the lifter?
I actually have several A5 and took lifter out of A5 magnum and it works better then new 2 piece lifter that is suppose to fit
