Help! Browning Bar Longtrac .270 WIn

Quite welcome. I'm interested in hearing other BAR owners' accuracy reports.

Chow Dog, did you ever go through with your plan to convert your 270 BAR to 7-08? Wondered if that's even possible, considering it would be going from a long action to a short action cartridge. If so, wondering how that worked out for you.

I may try a box of that Winchester Power Max if I run out of handloads and don't have time. I wonder what the variance in headspacing and throat is on these BARs. If there are guys out there with Hornady comparitors, we could compare head spacing between different rifles with fired cases. Anyone?
