I have found some great tutorials with pictures on replacing hammer springs, firing pins, etc. but cannot find a good tutorial on replacing the top lever spring.

It's pretty easy with the factory spring. There is a little nub on the end of the lever that contacts the spring, push the nub into the opening on the small end of the spring and that will take up enough clearance to enable you to reinstall the screw with only finger pressure necessary.
