I know that it's possible to use the new trigger plate mounting carrier springs in old guns that have it receiver mounted. I have read the section in the FSM but I am still not clear on the process. I wondered if anyone who has done it could share some pointers or directions?

    Thanks all

Wingman, I haven't done it but it looks straightforward. What seems to be the problem?

No problem specifically just wanted to find out if anyone had done it and how it went. Just seems to drop in with a bit of manipulation according the FSM..

Will give it a go when I manage to find a new spring.

OK. I was thinking of trying it when I have the time, but it looks like you're the pioneer the on this. My guess is the trick to getting the Trigger Plate in is to retract the bolt slightly.
