My new BLR

I recently bought this BLR. I have not seen the straight stock model with an engraved nickel receiver. Do you know anything about this model?

My favorite whitetail slayer is my old 1977 Winchester Model 1894 chambered in .30 WCF...top eject.

Found I didn't need a scope in the shallow valleys and thickly wooded areas I hunt in Pennsylvania...the iron sights work if I do my part.

If I need to reach out...my Remington Model 700 BDL in 7mm Rem Mag is just the thing to punch my quarry's ticket.

My first deer was with a old Model 94 chambered in 30-30. I find my eyes are not as good on iron sights as they used to be, hence the scope.

That is a nice rifle roninvt, is this new and what caliber is it? I've been playing around with purchasing a BAR. However, I have two BLR's 270 and 308. I would buy something like that just for the looks.
